Product Test Engineer

In this position, you will join the Validation Center and cooperate with R&D department. Together with the team, you overtake the responsibility to ensure the proper validation of the DM products and enabling the new product development projects to keep their committed targets. Moreover, you support the Quality department when it comes to testing for external customers and in the field of laboratory accreditation activities. Tasks: - Your contribution to our joint success is the implementation of a suitable test concept focussing on software and systems as well as ensuring quality throughout the entire product life cycle of Diehl Metering's software solutions. - You will be responsible for software and system test cases and for the implementation of resulting processes and execution in the context of development projects of our Diehl Metering solution portfolio. - You will bring software testing experience to the validation team and a high level of motivation to support our strategic growth area in Diehl Metering in terms of connectivity and solutions. - You take over the analysis of the test results and the subsequent solution optimisation in cooperation with the development department - You will coordinate the execution of standardised tests and support the planning and further development of test automation as well as the continuous optimisation of existing test processes Personal requirements: - You have successfully completed a technical degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable specialisation. - You have several years of professional experience in software testing and test design as well as test management in the R&D area.
